1. The working state of the steel pipe in use: whether it is used to transport fluid (including the state and properties of the fluid), or used as a mechanical component, the name and standard number that the steel pipe should meet, and pay attention to the “scope of application” of the standard. 2. According to the “order content” (ie “order content”) required in the standard, first select the overall dimensions of the seamless steel pipe required, including diameter, wall thickness and length;
3. The clauses related to the technical requirements for the delivery of steel pipes in the standard are the core content of the standard and determine whether the steel pipes can meet the use requirements of the orderer and must be fully understood. These mainly include:

(2) The allowable deviation of the steel pipe shape (outer diameter, wall thickness, length, curvature, ovality, pipe end shape) and its accuracy grade;

(6) The specific provisions of the standard for surface defects of steel pipes, including the category, name, severity of defects, the degree of permission after cleaning, and roughness requirements for high-precision steel pipes;
(7) Non-destructive testing of steel pipes (including hydraulic test, ultrasonic flaw detection, eddy current flaw detection, etc.).
4. According to the different guarantee conditions of different grades in the standard, select the steel grade that meets the requirements of the order, confirm the manufacturing method specified in the standard, find the allowable deviation of the size of the order specification, and select the accuracy grade.
5. The order should select the delivery state, according to the requirements of the material for the mechanical properties and processing properties of the steel pipe in the deep processing, and confirm the relevant values of the mechanical properties and processing performance that the steel pipe in this state can guarantee.
6. For the clauses in the standard, when the orderer has requirements beyond the guarantee required by the standard, the “optional” (or separately ordered) clause can be selected as a guarantee condition of the agreement, and it can also be listed as an order after being agreed by the supplier. If the orderer has difficulty in completing Articles 4 and 5 of this notice, he should get the help and guidance of the supplier’s sales engineer: the orderer should explain the post-processing method and specific processing requirements of the steel pipe material, as well as the use of this material for processing. The use requirements of the other parts (parts) completed are submitted to the supplier, and the supplier will help to choose the delivery status of the steel grade, and appropriately adjust the range of mechanical properties or processing properties of the corresponding delivery status, so that the supplier can comply with the agreement.
