What Is The Difference between Stainless Steel Elbows and Elbows?

stainless steel elbow

The basic difference between stainless steel elbow and elbow is that stainless steel elbow is shorter than elbow. R = 1 to 2 times is the elbow, and the bigger one is the elbow. In the production process, the cold bending pipe can be bent by a ready-made straight pipe bender, and no secondary corrosion protection is needed for one-time completion. But elbows need to be made to order by manufacturers, anti-corrosion and long order period. Elbows are more expensive than elbows, but their cost performance is much higher than elbows. It is well known that elbows without anticorrosive treatment are liable to be damaged, but because of their low price, they are widely used in some projects with low requirements.

Characteristics of stainless steel elbows:

1. Good wear resistance and super-hardness wear-resistant alloy with hardness HRC (> 56) possesses good wear resistance and thermal stability.

2. The impact resistance, metal bonding and thermal shock resistance of stainless steel butt weld elbow KMTBCr28 bimetal composite wear-resistant elbow. The interface of the two metals is metallurgical bonding and safe to use. The coefficients of thermal expansion are the same, and there is no expansion, shrinkage and cracking. The outer wall of elbow is made of steel tube, and the inner lining is made of super-hardness wear-resistant alloy. This product not only has the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of high alloy products, but also has higher mechanical properties and impact resistance.

3. The matrix of superhard alloy material with good heat and corrosion resistance has strong heat and corrosion resistance. It can show good corrosion resistance and wear resistance under high temperature or corrosive environment. Under the interaction of wet state, corrosive medium and particle erosion, it is appropriate to use super-hardness wear-resistant alloy as cast state, while under the dry state condition where abrasive wear is the main failure mode, a kind of super-hardness wear-resistant alloy material with martensite matrix can be obtained by heat treatment.

4. The wear-resistant steel pipe has low cost and good quality. It is manufactured by international advanced lost foam casting process. The product has high yield, good compactness, uniform thickness and stable quality.

5. Transportation, installation and easy use of bimetal composite wear-resistant pipe can be connected by stainless steel flange, rapid joint, direct welding and other ways. Moreover, because of the high impact resistance of the composite pipe, when local blockage occurs in the pipeline system overhaul, it can be tapped, hammered, cut, unloaded, welded at will, and installed, which is very convenient for overhaul.
